antihistamines
In my experience, the best way to determine the need for antihistamines is to undergo a blood test for CD4 and CD8 cells. CD8 cells, while being implicated in allergic reactions, also continuously attack other cells, including red blood cells (RBCs).

ME/CFS Patient Anecdotes With Antihistamines
  • One ME/CFS patient took cimetidine (Tagamet) 200 mg every other day, and was able to go back to work.
I took 400mg cimetidine one time and it worsened my peripheral neuropathy substantially. Cimetidine can deactivate T-regulatory cells and worsen autoimmunity.
